The A&B Import Auto Story
Proudly Serving Fort Collins, Loveland, & Northern Colorado For Over 35 Years
A&B Import Auto started back in 1983, when Mark Ausbrooks and Craig Barlow decided to leave a local Fort Collins independent auto repair shop, that the two had been working at together, and strike off on their own as partners in the small business work. Renting a space for $200 a month on Lincoln Ave in Fort Collins, with a hand painted sandwich board out new the street, got them going. After heating with wood and coal in their original location for a year, they moved across the alley to a new building that had just been built – where they have been to this day. Working on air cooled Volkswagen bugs, early Subarus, Saabs (when they first started), and Japanese cars, A&B has changed with the times, now working on more modern import vehicles. After 3 year, Craig moved on, but Mark stayed the course for the duration of the business – start to present day. Through our highly skilled and experienced technicians we have provided quality import car service and repair with honest and attention to detail for nearly 40 years.
