40 Years Of Import Auto Repair Service in Fort Collins
Hey there! My name is Calvin, owner and operator of A&B Import Auto. In August of 2022, I took over for founder Mark Ausbrooks as he left the business for a well-deserved retirement. I wanted to take a moment to talk a bit about the philosophy Mark and I share for taking care of folks & their beloved vehicles.
So many shops across many industries seem to overcomplicate good service. I’ve always felt that it’s pretty simple: do the very best job we can from the beginning, and stand behind it. Price our services high enough to pay everybody a decent living and buy good parts that last, but no higher.
It’s an exciting time to be in the automotive industry. The performance and luxury cars of Germany continue to be as challenging as can be, keeping us all on our toes with the latest training. We’ve adopted new tools for working on electric vehicles as they become more popular, making sure we’re prepared to help keep them on the road when the time comes. I can’t say what the landscape will be 10 years from now, but we’ll be here – doing our best to provide the same service that’s kept us around for over 40 years.
Coming soon, A&B is adding a low profile compatible alignment rack to better serve the Fort Collins performance community and installing tooling necessary to service Mercedes Sprinters. Our front-desk team takes the advisor’s responsibility very seriously, and we’ll tap into our knowledge of the cars and automotive repairs discussed to help prioritize issues when necessary or determine if something is truly in need of repair. If you’ve recently received an estimate for repairs, and you’re not 100% confident those repairs are needed, bring it on by for a second opinion!
